  • A new treatment for those with schitzo-affective disorders, a new treament called Avatar Therapy has emerged showing promise. • Just some advice: If you're looking for something to improve your mental health, consider a starting an active hobby or habit (like going on walks or hikes outside) involving physical movement, even if it's just dancing alone in your room for 10 minutes every day. In addition, consider a hobby or ritual of something you do with your hands, such as knitting, drawing, writing, coloring, building legos, and the like. You don't have to be good at it, you don't have to show anyone. In fact, you could really benefit from a hobby that you only keep to yourself and perhaps your irl peer group. This is a hobby without outside perception ever being a factor. This hobby can help you feel free.
